The English breakfast was quick with unlimited drinks at a nearby Wetherspoons and reasonably priced. The location turned out to be particularly good and perfect, short walk to Clifford's Tower, the dungeons and York museum and all the major attractions in York.Liked our really really nice stay for two nights.

Stylish room with lovely decorations, helpful front desk staff, quick check-in and check-out processes, fantastic location in the lobby lounge area in a nice neighborhood.

It was a good quality and first-rate hotel in a very relaxing area, not far from town center, local shops, and York centre. The amazingly helpful and patient staff members on how to evacuate the building in a professional and safe manner provided a few recommendations.

The hotel was a relaxing base for enjoying a very quiet area, just next door to the public areas as well as the banks of the river Ouse which is a pleasant walk into the centre. The staff members were consistently courteous and immensely pleasant.

The breakfast at Novotel York Centre was very good, with a variety of options including sandwiches, a coffee machine, and hot food served in the lounge area. The location of the hotel is incredible and unbeatable, being right by the hustle and bustle, making it very easy to access the hop on hop off bus stop, the town center, and the main tourist attractions.

Amenities undergoing long term refurbishment - no prior warning at point of booking. Booked this hotel for pool facility and it should have been specified aware it was closed for some time. Also only one lilft working, making departure problematic.
